Lisa Messenger

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Lisa Messenger is Managing Director of Messenger Marketing and Messenger Publishing and co-director of Anchovy Publishing. She has worked globally in events, sponsorship, marketing, PR and publishing.

In 2004 she authored and produced a beautiful photographic book, Happiness Is…, which supported Kids Help Line. To avoid the constraints imposed by traditional publishers, she self-published the book and as a result developed a custom funding and distribution model that is unique in Australia. This success led to her being named a finalist in the 2005 Telstra Business Woman of the Year. She went on to being named a finalist again for The Telstra Business Woman of the Year in 2006 as well as being named finalist for the Champion of Champions Award. She has also co-authored best selling business bookCubicle Commando.

Lisa writes extensively for a number of magazines, is a judge for the Australian Business and Specialist Publishers’ national Bell Awards, in 2005 and 2006 sat on the board of the Australian Businesswomen’s Network and chaired the 2006 International Women’s Day for them in Australia. In 2006 she was also honoured as a national entrepreneur in books published by the Rural Women’s Network, the National Department for Women and in Secrets of Entrepreneurs Under Forty Exposed by Dale Beaumont. She is also an active supporter of charities Kids Help Line and Opportunity International. She is in negotiations to licence her publishing model globally and intends on opening an office in New York in 2007.

Her passion is to challenge individuals and corporations to change the way they think, take them out of their comfort zone and prove that there is more than one way to do anything. She encourages entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and innovation.

She is now using her unique marketing talents and innovative approach with entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and people all over the globe.
