FACILITATOR

All workshops and retreats are run by Lisa Messenger with the support of her co-author and co-facilitator Mel Carswell.  

Mel Carswell is Messenger Publishing’s Associate Director. She heads up the project management arm of the company which produced 48 books in 2007, and is highly involved in the creative creation of all things Messenger. She has co-authored a number of Lisa’s books and according to Lisa, is a key reason behind the company’s success to date. An experienced journalist and editor, she also worked in printing and sales environments before teaming up with Lisa after an uncanny meeting in 2003. She has a strong community ethos, has mentored teenager girls on goal setting, budgeting and relationships through youth organisations in Tasmania and New South Wales and is passionate about helping people in anyway she can. This desire is powerful in workshop and retreat settings where you’ll find Mel chatting well beyond time in order to help participants move forward swiftly on their projects. Mel has an eye for design and loves pulling together pieces of a project to transform people’s ideas into reality. She is committed to thinking outside the box and utilising people’s strengths to create the perfect team.
